We present a discussion on the benefits of implementing real time diffusion models into virtual production workflows to enhance the use of in-camera VFX for film-making and mixed reality media production. We will present three in progress case studies detailing the application of a real time stable diffusion model in a virtual production immersive environment showing that the benefits of generative AI for artificial set design, prop creation, and rapid prototyping for storytelling enable greater resource management in the film-making process.
